Shaker Rosewood Credenza

The American Shaker movement provided many of the design cues for this highly contemporary credenza. The exposed box joinery helps to accentuate the natural golden glow of the Rosewood. The front sliding panels feature hand cut woven timber New Zealand beech strips in a tribute to the Shaker woven cloth seats. The graduated drawers and refectory style base also pay homage to the Shakers design sensibilities of simplicity, integrity and honesty.
