Laminated White Glass Table

This piece was designed in response to a brief for an elegant minimal table using glass and wood to seat eight and sit comfortably in a contemporary living space with large modern canvases.

Extremely strong tenoned mitres and sliding dovetails allowed the elegant proportion which were capable of safely supporting the weight of the glass top.

The laminated white glass was chosen for its beautiful milky transparency which creates a calming neutral stillness in the space, as well as for its strength and its safety.
